Right to Work
In partnership with local nonprofit agencies, HandyCapable Network identifies developmentally disabled individuals
seeking empowerment through employment who, for whatever reason, have been unable to secure a position. HandyCapable places these individuals in a paid, part-time position at HandyCapable Network and trains these individuals “on the job” to improve their chance of finding long-term employment elsewhere. Using a model of educating employers and advocating for their right to work, HandyCapable Network aims to help bridge the gap between this growing workforce and available jobs.
