Corporate Donations
Upgrading to new computer systems? HandyCapable Network can help!
Every year, individuals and businesses in the Triad throw away over 3,000 computers. You can help our environment, community, low-income families and local nonprofits by donating your old computer systems to HandyCapable Network every time you upgrade! We’ll even pick them up!
Who we are
HandyCapable Network (HCN) provides computer training and hands-on life enrichment to people with developmental and physical disabilities. We’ve trained our eight “Handy Techs” in computer repair and provided them the valuable opportunity to give back to their community. HCN then distributes the refurbished computers to families and children that would otherwise not have the ability to acquire computer technology in their homes.
Your data is safe with us!
When donating your old computers, there is no need to worry about the privacy of your data. Each and every computer hard drive that enters our facility is either physically destroyed or is wiped clean with a utility that conforms to the U.S. Dept. of Defense standard for data destruction. HCN’s goal is to be known as the “go to” place to donate out of date computer equipment.
Take a Tour
We would like to invite you and your colleagues to stop by and take a tour of our refurbishing center in Greensboro. The tour provides a fantastic opportunity to learn more about our organization, see what we do and to visit our inspiring HandyTechs while they’re in action.
Every computer and every dollar helps!
We hope you will be interested in starting a long-term relationship with us. HandyCapable Network is here to provide local businesses the opportunity to give back to our community and help local families and nonprofits gain access to computer technology. We depend on donations of used computers from businesses like yours to fulfill our missions and goals.
