Our volunteers showing computer parts

HandyCapable volunteers and staff enjoyed being a part of the 2015 Earth Day Celebration Saturday, April 18th at the Kathleen Clay Edwards Library! Did you know this is the 45th year of celebrating clean air, land and water? For HandyCapable that means more then just the proper recycling of electronics. We do so much more and our volunteers love the chance to share their experiences and tell people all about the amazing things HandyCapable has to offer.. HandyTech Cameron came to show kids and their parents all the different components and how to put them together. Sid, one of our Future Geek camps told other youth about his experience building a computer AND then giving it to a low income family. His sister Sahana talked to people about her service learning hours experience at HandyCapable.
